PACIFIC NORTHWEST PRIDE

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner seqspeed=”150″][vc_column_inner width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Seattle is a city rich in cultural heritage and teeming with diversity. The Emerald City, jewel of the Northwest, plays a key role in the burgeoning Pacific Rim trade.

For newcomers to our city, a Northwest theme party provides a wonderful opportunity to explore our fascinating native Northwest Indian heritage, our diverse Pike Place Market. It also portrays the early pioneer days that saw our city spring to life and the key landmarks that create our unique city skyline.

Guests enter the reception through an archway that proudly proclaims “Welcome to the Emerald City.” This 12′ wide archway sign sits atop 8′ columns. Flanking the columns are 20′ of white drape and glistening emerald green Mylar pull downs.

Inside, guests are greeted by a 14′ tall scale replica of the Space Needle and a dramatic stage backdrop of the Emerald City. This 16′ by 32′ . backdrop is artistically representative of Seattle’s skyline painted in emerald jewel tones. It is truly a magical Seattle! On either side of the stage, 30′ of 14′ tall white drape is up-lit with brilliant strokes of green light splashing festively up the drape wall.

On both sides of the ballroom, images of our city’s cultural and historical diversity abound. On the left, a native Indian village intrigues guests with a 16′ by 30′ mural, large four and six foot standing totems, a long house entrance, and more.

The right side of the room features a bustling Pike Place Market vignette, complete with backdrop and three actual shops (working doors, windows, etc.). The “Meet Me Producers & Public Market- signs along with park benches and street lamps finish off this 48′ wide set with realistic flair.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
